On top of the kerbside recycling from local councils and the supermarket based recycling we have also signed up to terracycle, to make sure as much of our packaging as possible is recycled.
What is Terracycle?
Terracycle is a UK based company with a mission to eliminate waste and recycle as much of the typically non-recyclable goods as possible. We’ve added a zero waste box to our manufacturing site, which means that we’ll collect any packaging that you are struggling to recycle through normal means and send it off to Terracycle to make sure it doesn’t end up in landfill.
What packaging does it cover?
Our box covers everything coffee related:
- Coffee capsules/pods
- Coffee Bags
- Plastic Coffee Packaging (our LDPE 4 Pouches)
- Laminated paper packaging (our old paper lined bags)

How does it work?
Post your empty Presto packaging to the below address. For metals (aluminium coffee pods) these are separated and melted into ingots for reuses. Plastics are also separated by number and turned into pellets to be made into new products.
